Terms of Service — Bloq

These Terms govern your use of the Bloq mobile application and the Bloq pages on our website (together, the “Service”). By downloading or using Bloq, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Bloq is a casual puzzle game. Features may include local scoring, sound settings, optional rewarded advertisements, and cosmetic / feedback flourishes (e.g. mascot reactions). We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your country. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, you may use Bloq only with a parent or guardian’s permission where required.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Bloq on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App except as allowed by law.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or disrupt the Service
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ devices
• Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights
• Misuse advertising (e.g. fraudulent ad interactions)

5. Ads

Bloq may show third-party ads (including rewarded ads). Ad content is provided by third parties; we are not responsible for advertisers’ products or websites. Rewarded ads are optional — declining them may limit optional benefits (such as continuing a run) but does not prevent basic play.

6. Intellectual property

Bloq, the Bloq mascot, name, logos, art, audio, and related materials are owned by AZQARI LIMITED or its licensors. Using the App does not give you ownership of any IP.

7. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AZQARI LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, SCORES, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED GBP £50 (OR THE EQUIVALENT IN LOCAL CURRENCY).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

10. App Store

You acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for Bloq or these Terms. Your use of Bloq must also comply with Apple’s Media Services Terms / App Store Terms. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Bloq. In the event of a failure to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any) as allowed by Apple; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you regarding your licence to use Bloq.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using Bloq at any time by deleting the App.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new Effective date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
