Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 April 2026
Azqari Limited is committed to maintaining the privacy and security of personal information. This policy outlines the principles and practices that guide our handling of information when you visit our website, contact us, or engage our services. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
Azqari Limited (“Azqari”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides automation and software consulting services to global clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information in connection with our website azqari.com, consulting engagements, related services, and certain mobile and web apps we operate for schools. By accessing our website or engaging with our team, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
Where we provide mobile or web software on behalf of a school (for example the Glowing Ages school app), the school is typically responsible for decisions about why and how pupil, parent, and staff data is processed for education and administration, and Azqari acts as a processor or service provider under the agreement with that school, in addition to the practices described here. Parents and staff should also read the school’s own privacy notices. For more detail on school and education apps, see section 3 below.
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, such as contact details submitted through Calendly, email, or other intake forms (name, company, email address, phone number, and project context). We also collect limited usage data automatically through analytics tools on our website (IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and timestamps) to improve site performance and security. For mobile applications such as Azqari Home and school-facing apps we deliver for clients (including the Glowing Ages app), categories of data collected depend on the product; section 3 describes the Glowing Ages app in more detail. When delivering services, we may process additional information under separate contractual agreements with clients.
The Glowing Ages app is a school operations and communication tool for authorised users (for example parents, teachers, and school administrators) connected to a participating school. It is not a public directory and is not intended for use without a legitimate relationship to that school.
Access is controlled by the school and our systems (for example accounts created or approved by the school, or sign-in methods the school has enabled). The app is not a general-purpose open registration service for the public.
We may process identifiers and contact details needed to operate accounts (for example name, email address, role, and school association), as provided by the user, the school, or a sign-in provider.
Where enabled, sign-in may use Sign in with Apple, Google, and/or email and password via Google Firebase Authentication. Firebase and the platform provider process authentication data according to their own policies.
To keep you signed in, the app stores access and refresh tokens and related profile and school context on the device (for example using local device storage). An optional Face ID / Touch ID (or device credential) step may be used only on the device to unlock an existing session; biometric data is not sent to Azqari.
If you opt in to notifications, we may collect a push notification token (for example via Firebase Cloud Messaging on supported builds), device type, operating system, app version, and an optional device label you or the system provides, so the school can deliver alerts (for example announcements or operational messages).
We may process content and records needed for school use and shown in the app, such as classes, attendance, behaviour, incidents, enrollment applications, documents you upload, messages or announcements, invoices or payment-related references, and similar data as configured for that school.
If the school enables payment flows, you may complete payment steps in a web view or browser session operated by a payment or banking partner. Azqari does not store full card details in the app; payment data is handled by those partners under their terms and privacy notices.
IP address, diagnostics, and usage metadata may be processed when you use our APIs and infrastructure, for security, reliability, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the Glowing Ages app to run third-party advertising or cross-app tracking for advertising as described in platform rules.
Depending on configuration, processing may involve Google (Firebase / cloud), Apple, payment providers, hosting and infrastructure vendors, and tools used to operate azqari.com and our APIs. We use providers under appropriate agreements and, where required, data processing terms.
Retention of school-related data is governed by the school’s instructions, contract, and law (for example education and safeguarding rules). Contact the school for pupil-specific questions; contact admin@azqari.com for technical or processor questions.
School data may be processed in the UK, the EEA, the US, or other regions where we or subprocessors operate, with safeguards as required by applicable law.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to complain to a supervisory authority. School users should often contact the school first for requests about grades, attendance, or pupil records; we will assist schools as required by contract and law.
If the app is used by or on behalf of children, processing should follow school authority, parental consent where required, and applicable child privacy laws. The school’s privacy notice should explain this.
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide consultations, deliver contracted services, send administrative communications, improve our offerings, and meet legal or compliance obligations. We do not sell personal information. Any marketing communications will include an option to opt out or update preferences.
Our processing of personal information is based on one or more of the following legal bases: consent (for enquiries or marketing), performance of a contract (for client engagements), legitimate business interests (such as improving services or ensuring security), and compliance with legal obligations.
We may share personal information with trusted service providers that support our operations (for example, scheduling, analytics, cloud hosting, or collaboration tools). These providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or other business transaction.
Azqari operates as a remote-first team serving clients globally. When personal information is transferred across borders, we implement appropriate safeguards such as contractual clauses, access controls, and encryption to protect data in line with applicable regulations.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with contractual requirements, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or delete personal information we hold about you, restrict or object to certain processing, and request data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact us at admin@azqari.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
We maintain administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. While we strive to secure data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our website may contain links to third-party sites or integrations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external services you access.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through additional notice.
